The IBBA Announces Member Excellence Award Winners

NOVEMBER 17, 2016, INDEPENDENCE, OHIO – The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) announced its Member Excellence Award recipients at its 2016 Fall Conference in Tempe, Arizona during the awards ceremony held on November 12, 2016. Awards were bestowed upon IBBA members who achieved various levels of transaction volume and value in calendar year 2015.

“It is important to take a moment and recognize those individuals that have proven exceptionally skilled at applying the learnings and standard of excellence that the IBBA promotes,” stated Scott Bushkie, IBBA Chair of the Board. “These members have delivered exceptional value for their clients, and as a result, have achieved great success.”

Awards were given in the following SIX categories: IBBA Outstanding Producer, IBBA Chair’s Circle, IBBA Top Global Producer, IBBA Deal Maker, IBBA Deal Maker of the Year, IBBA Advocate of the Year. The qualifications and winners are:

IBBA Outstanding Producer Award: Bestowed upon those individuals who closed one or more business sales (excluding real estate) totaling to at least $1 million in total Purchase Price during the 2015 calendar year. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

IBBA Chair’s Circle Award: Bestowed upon individuals who closed one or more business sales (excluding real estate) totaling to $3 million and above in total Purchase Price during the 2015 calendar year. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

IBBA Top Global Producer Award: Bestowed upon the individual who has the highest total Purchase Price from all of his/her deals combined (excluding real estate) in the 2015 calendar year. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

IBBA Deal Maker Award: Bestowed upon those individuals who sold at least 10 businesses during the 2015 calendar year. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

IBBA Deal Maker of the Year Award: Bestowed upon the individual who sold the greatest number of business in the 2015 calendar year. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

IBBA Advocate of the Year Award: Bestowed upon one non-deal maker who has gone above and beyond to not only help the IBBA continue to be successful and grow as an organization, but also helps individual members grow and continue to be successful as well. The IBBA is pleased to congratulate:

To qualify for the transaction-based Member Excellence Awards, an individual must be an IBBA member in good standing; complete an application form by the specified deadline; and submit the required transaction verification documentation. Advocate of the Year applicants were nominated by self or others. All entries for all awards were reviewed by the IBBA Marketing Committee.

“At this time we would also like to acknowledge and thank our Marketing Committee members for all their hard work on making this awards program a reality,” stated Kylene Golubski, Executive Director for the IBBA. “This was the first year ever for this program and it has been enthusiastically received by membership.”
