At the IBBA 2024 Conference, I enjoyed all of the workshops. I thought the balance sheet talk was over the top forensic accounting.
IBBA annual conference is unique due to members willingness to share personal insights of what has worked well for them in their practice. In other associations (and other professions), some hold back (as they see themselves as competitors) or limit what they will discuss (as they are unsure of their position). There are NO shy attendees at the IBBA! Best experience I’ve had at a conference in decades!
If you are a practicing business broker, you must attend the International Business Broker Association’s (IBBA) conference, held once a year. The learning, camaraderie, and networking are just outstanding. If you have not at ended any, mark your calendar for May 2025 in Orlando, FL.
The event was absolutely phenomenal as a newer business broker. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be worth the money… boy was I wrong. Just 1 of the workshops alone made it worth the investment and on top of that got to take so many more workshops, meet so many wise people.
