IBBA Announces 2020 Board Election Results and 2021 Chair Elect

Independence, OH  – October 4, 2019 – The International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) is pleased to welcome four new members to its board of governors. Joining the board for 2020 are:

The Board also unanimously approved current board member, Lisa Riley, Phd, CBI, CM&AP, CBB of Link-Phoenix in Scottsdale, AZ, as the 2021 Chair of the Board.

“We’re excited to have these four members join our board and for Lisa to take the reins in 2021,” said Jeffrey Snell, 2019 IBBA Chair of the Board. “They’ve all made incredible contributions to the business broker industry and their experience and knowledge will provide great leadership for IBBA. I congratulate them all.”

New board members are identified by the IBBA nominating committing and then elected by membership vote. Each holds a three-year term, with a maximum service of two sequential terms. The newly elected board members will begin their terms effective January 1, 2020. The committee also presents the Chair recommendation for board approval each year and Chairs serve a one-year term.
