Guidelines for Submitting an Article to IBBAinsights Magazine
1. Content and Relevance
- Articles should focus on topics relevant to business brokers, such as industry trends, best practices, case studies, legal and regulatory updates, and business development strategies.
- Submissions should provide valuable insights, practical advice, or thoughtprovoking perspectives.
2. Originality and Exclusivity
- Articles must be original and not previously published elsewhere.
- Submissions should not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
3. Article Length
- Standard articles should be between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
- Longer articles may be considered but require prior approval.
4. Formatting and Style
- Use a clear and concise writing style, suitable for a professional audience.
- Include headings and subheadings to organize content and enhance readability.
- Use bullet points or numbered lists where appropriate.
5. Citations and References
- Cite all sources of data, quotes, or other information that is not the author’s original thought.
- Use a consistent citation style, such as APA, and include a reference list at the end of the article.
6. Submission Process
- Submit articles in a Word document format.
- Include a brief author bio (50-100 words) and a headshot.

7. Review and Editing
- All submissions will be reviewed by the IBBA Insights Committee. Acceptance is based on quality, relevance, and alignment with editorial guidelines.
- The IBBA Insights Committee reserves the right to edit articles for clarity, grammar, and length.
8. Copyright and Permissions
- By submitting an article, authors grant IBBA Insights Magazine the right to publish and distribute the content in print and digital formats.
- Authors retain the right to republish their articles after an exclusive period of 90 days post-publication, provided they credit IBBA Insights Magazine as the original publisher.
