IBBA Releases New Online Courses, Lowers Pricing on All Education

March 14, 2016 – INDEPENDENCE, OHIO – Today the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) announced the release of three new online courses. The release coincides with the introduction of new, lower pricing for both online and live courses, and a new pricing tier for IBBA Affiliate members. The three new online courses are: #150 Building a Listing Inventory (8 credit hours); #206 Managing the Due Diligence Process (4 credit hours); #208 Managing the Closing and Orderly Turnover Processes (4 credit hours).

“As the leader in business broker education, the IBBA is committed to making access to high-quality educational programs convenient and affordable for the industry,” stated Kylene Golubski, Executive Director. “We started the year by stating a commitment to increasing our Member Value Proposition, and the production of more online courses, plus lower pricing on all educational content, are huge strides towards that aim.”

The reduced online and live course pricing will save IBBA Members anywhere from $50 to more than $100 per course. Additionally, for the first time, the IBBA is offering special pricing to those individuals who are not a Member of the IBBA, but belong to one of the IBBA’s Affiliate organizations. Affiliates are state or regional associations for business brokers and intermediaries, who share the IBBA’s mission for professional industry education.

“Lower pricing, plus the cost savings associated with taking courses online, especially translates to large savings for those pursuing and maintaining the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation,” stated Golubski.

At least five more online courses are planned for conversion in 2016, along with the release of at least two brand new courses to add to the more than fifty courses the IBBA currently delivers.
