Independence, OH – January 24, 2020 – Business Brokers worldwide will saddle up for two days of intensive learning during the International Business Brokers annual conference taking place April 24-25, 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Derby.
This year’s conference, themed “Racing Toward Success,” will feature keynote speaker Terry Watson, an international speaker known for using humor to help professionals learn how to improve relationships with clients, close transactions more efficiently, step into the leadership role they know they’re capable of, and how to work smarter…not harder. Through humor, Watson creates greater audience retention of key messages by activating the brain’s dopamine reward system which stimulates goal-oriented motivation and long-term memory.
“Who doesn’t like to laugh, especially while learning key takeaways that will help you in your career,” said Kylene Golubski, Executive Director of IBBA. “It will be a fun, yet full, agenda for the conference featuring a number of industry expert presenters along with opportunities for knowledge sharing during the breakout sessions and through networking opportunities.”
The conference includes 30 workshops, mastermind sessions, The Marketplace and scheduled networking sessions. Several accreditation courses will also be offered including:
For planning purposes, separate registration is required for each accredited course.
“The conference is a great opportunity for business brokers to attain accreditations or refresh their certifications,” Golubski explains. “It’s also an opportunity to be recognized for your successes during the awards program.”
The IBBA Member Excellence Awards ceremony is held during the conference and recognizes individuals who have proven themselves exceptionally skilled at applying the standards of excellence that IBBA promotes. IBBA members are encouraged to submit award nominations. Award criteria can be found on the IBBA website at www.ibba.org.
“It’s a learning intensive few days but it’s a great opportunity for business brokers around the world to get a wealth of insight and training from industry leaders.” said Golubski. “There’s truly no other place where this much industry knowledge is available in one setting.”
