Charter

The Strategic Issues Task Force was formed to address key issues facing the business brokerage and intermediary industry and to provide information, develop strategies and make recommendations to the Board of Directors and the membership regarding these issues. All activities associated with this task force are subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

• Maintain communications with ABA, SEC,SBA and any agency looking into licensing business brokers
• Oversee the exchange of information on licensing issues within membership and related professions
• Make recommendations to the Board of Directors for appropriate action on these matters

Contribute to the IBBA Fund on Licensing Issues

The IBBA is asking that members, affiliates and friends of the industry contribute to an IBBA fund to clarify licensing issues in the Business Brokerage and M&A industry. Funds contributed to the IBBA will be matched by the Association up to $30,000.
