Jeff is a former M&A attorney, who has extensive experience counseling clients in the purchase and sale of businesses. Jeff has also bought and sold several businesses on his own behalf in the construction, consumer shows, e-commerce, and professional services industries.
After graduating from Vanderbilt Law School in 1995, Jeff was an associate with two of Atlanta’s largest law firms before moving to Denver in 1999. In Denver he served as corporate in-house counsel with two large corporations.
In 2003 Jeff founded his own law firm focusing on general corporate, M&A, franchise, and intellectual property matters. He has represented clients in dozens of business acquisitions. In 2009, Jeff sold his firm, though he remained of counsel until recently. Over the past decade he has bought, run, and sold several companies, by increasing their profitability and positioning them for sale. He also served on the Board of Directors of a national franchise restaurant company.
