Ron Johnson

M&AMI, Lifetime CBI, Fellow of the IBBA and Fellow of the M&A Source. Ron has extensive education and experience in the sales of small-medium sized privately held businesses, and in the ownership of small businesses. Starting at ABI Business Sales in 1991, Ron was President or Chairman for 24 years and is now working independently, with one partner. Ron is past president of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB – two terms) and past Chair of the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Ron is again on the Board of CABB and serves as its Education Chair. Ron has chaired numerous committees for both the CABB and the IBBA, and instructs six courses for them, from Introduction to Business Brokerage to Advanced Recasting and Valuation to Introduction to M&A. Ron is a frequent contributor to brokerage professional journals, publications and webinars and is a well-recognized leader in the profession.
