Member Excellence Awards
Application Process
For IBBA Performance Awards, transactions will be attributed exclusively to the Primary Intermediary, defined as the agent or broker who directly managed the transaction from initiation to close on buy-side or sell-side. While this individual may have received compensated assistance, the primary responsibility must rest with the applicant.
Applicants must complete the 2025 Awards Individual Application Form in full, including details for each qualifying deal closed in 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a 2025 IBBA Member Excellence Award, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Membership Status: Be an active IBBA member.
- Transaction Requirement: Close one or more qualifying business transactions during the 2025 calendar year totaling $1 million and above.
- Submission Deadline: Complete and submit the application form, including supporting materials, no later than March 4, 2026.
- Pro Tip: Ensure you check the “Send me a copy of my responses” box to retain your submission details.

Award Categories
Performance Awards
IBBA Outstanding Producer Award
Honors individual broker applicants who closed one or more qualified business transactions totaling to at least $1 million in total Sale Price during the 2024 calendar year.
IBBA Chairman’s Circle Award
Honors individual broker applicants who closed one or more qualified business transactions totaling to at least $3 million in total Sale Price during the 2024 calendar year.
IBBA Platinum Chairman’s Circle Award
Honors individual broker applicants who closed one or more qualified business transactions totaling to at least $10 million in total Sale Price during the 2024 calendar year.
IBBA Deal Maker Award
Honors individual broker applicants who sold at least 10 qualified business transactions during the 2024 calendar year.
Elite Individual Applicant Awards
IBBA Top Individual Deal Maker Award of the Year
Awarded to the broker completing the greatest number of qualified businesses transactions during the 2024 calendar year.
IBBA CBI of the Year
Recognizes the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) who has closed the single largest qualified transaction during the 2024 calendar year.
IBBA Top Individual Global Producer of the Year
Celebrates the broker achieving the highest total sale price across all qualified business transactions. (Note: Transactions exceeding $5 million in sale price will be capped at $5 million per transaction for award consideration.)
