Kara Gibson Brzytwa, MBA, CBI, is the Owner and Managing Principal of Exit Equity LLC, a second-generation, sell-side M&A advisory firm representing founder-led and family-owned businesses, the investment-banker tier of the lower middle market. Her father, Dan Gibson, founded the firm in 2007. Exit Equity has since closed more than 250 transactions. The firm builds a bespoke, tech-driven buyer list for every engagement, sourcing diverse buyer types to drive a competitive bidding process. Every engagement is run by a team that knows the business cold, which is why the CIMs get complimented rather than just filed away. Exit Equity is also the only female-owned M&A advisory firm in the Pacific Northwest. Kara is serving her second elected term on the International Business Brokers Association's Board of Governors.
