Omar is the managing partner of VR Business Brokers - San Antonio (VRSA). Omar is one of 12 brokers in Texas and the only one in San Antonio to hold CBI & M&AMI designations. Prior to VR, Omar had a distinguished corporate career. Some of his key achievements: - While in an M&A function Omar performed the financial modeling leading to the sale of 22% of FEMA's beer division for $510 million. The enterprise value of the business was $2.3 billion. - Led many strategic projects that aimed to transform and maximize shareholder value and worked with world-class business consulting firms such as Mckinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Booz Allen Hamilton. - Responsible for re-launching and accelerating the growth of multiple brands in the beverage industry earning him the title of "Marketer of the Next Generation" by Brandweek.
