Jeremy Mercer

Jeremy Mercer founded Matador after building and successfully exiting his own operating businesses. He acquired his family’s steel fabrication company, expanded the platform through strategic acquisitions, and ultimately led a successful exit. That firsthand experience continues to shape how he evaluates businesses, buyers, and transactions today. Since founding Matador, Jeremy has developed an industrial real estate investment platform focused on manufacturing, logistics, and industrial assets, while building long-standing relationships with business owners evaluating succession planning and exit opportunities. Within Matador’s M&A advisory practice, Jeremy advises founders on transaction strategy, buyer alignment, and deal structuring that works both operationally and financially. He is known for maintaining a disciplined, transparent transaction process and brings a practical perspective shaped by having sat on both sides of the table—as both an operator and a seller.
