Stu Gilman

Stu is originally from NH, where he spent most of his life. He and his wife Joni moved to the CA Central Valley in 2004. He worked as a software consultant to large companies for many years, and an active contributor to technology startups. Due to his friendship with two of Transworld of Tri-Valley’s co-founders, became a partner at Transworld, a Central Valley-based M&A firm. Beyond his professional pursuits, he believes in giving back to his community in many ways, working with many local non-profits and helping with many local election campaigns. As a result of his interest in economic development and love for community, Stu was asked to run for the Modesto Irrigation Board of Directors in 2017. MID is a publicly owned $500m electric/water utility, where he served as a director for 5 years. His passion today is working with clients to sell or buy businesses, frequently helping them to retire from their business or to carve out a piece of the American Dream by owning one.
