Charlie Scarlett was a franchisee of BrightStar Care (homecare) and The Entrepreneur’s Source (self-employment coaching). He was President and COO of Abercrombie & Kent’s Explorer Shipping Corp (expedition cruising). and CFO of Rotorcraft Partnerships, Ltd. (aviation) He holds an MBA from The Darden Graduate Business School at The University of Virginia and has bought and sold businesses throughout his career. He works closely with his sellers to determine a realistic market value and highlight the key elements of their business that will attract real buyers. He helps his buyers learn about the businesses and prepare realistic offers. Once accepted, he helps buyers through due diligence, securing financing and setting up their new company for a successful startup following closing. He is accomplished at navigating the challenges of selling and buying businesses and works hard toward win-win outcomes.
