Jason Plouff

Jason is a CPA and M&A advisor with over 15 years of senior financial and operational leadership experience, working closely with founder- and owner-led businesses. Prior to joining TNMA, he owned and operated a lower-middle-market infrastructure utility contractor, which he sold to private equity in 2021. He provides practical guidance across valuation, transaction preparation, due diligence, and closing. His straightforward, analytical approach helps clients understand value, navigate complexity, and execute successful ownership transitions. As a former business owner, Jason brings real-world deal experience and project management skills to clients across industries, including contractors, professional services firms, and utilities businesses. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Minnesota and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, being on the water, and off-road racing.
