Alex ("Ax") Sellers is the founder of Axis Impact, an M&A advisory and business brokerage practice focused on environmental services — MSW transfer stations, waste hauling and roll-off operations, used-oil collection and processing, fuel distribution and blending, industrial wastewater treatment, and remediation companies in the $3M–$20M range. Alex began in business brokerage in the 1990s, specializing in distressed businesses and properties, and has worked every side of the table since: he redeveloped a derelict river barge terminal into a permitted industrial wastewater treatment facility, founded an energy-technology company whose waste-to-energy fuels earned independent lab validation, and co-built Strive Foods, an eleven-year Atlanta food company he still helps run.
