Rick Gardner

Rick Gardner is a Partner/Managing Broker of Sunbelt Business Brokers & Franchise Services. Rick is both a Business and Commercial Real Estate Broker, in Florida and Ohio, and is a Certified Business Intermediary through, and teaches for, the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA) and is on the M&A Source DealMarket Committee. Rick began his career as a Financial Analyst with Richard E. Jacobs Group (then the largest privately-held mall developer in the nation) in the late 1990s, and has been a Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield. Prior to this, he was a Director of Commercial Real Estate at Coldwell Banker, an investor, and taught finance courses for both an MBA program and a real estate pre- licensing program. He earned his MBA in Finance from the University of Akron in 1995. Rick served from 1987-1993 in both the U.S. Army and Army National Guard as an MOS 19D Recon Scout and was a 1989 Honor Graduate from the Army’s Primary Leadership Development Course.
