Following graduation from Amherst College, Ian managed the Palo Alto CA office of Western Title Insurance Co.
Thereafter, Ian joined Mellon Bank, Philadelphia for commercial lending and restructuring business loans and real estate assets. Future banking assignments included MCorp (Houston), First American (DC), and Fleet Financial / Bank of America (New York).
Prior to joining Edison Business Advisors, Ian’s career included managing and qualifying a business brokerage firm in Southwest Florida. During that time, Ian listed and sold businesses across various industries, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers, marine fleets, etc.
Entrepreneurially, Ian founded and sold Vitamin Corporation of America, Huntington, NY.
Ian’s community involvement includes President of the Collier Citizens Council, Treasurer and Vice Chairman of the Pelican Bay Foundation, and Treasurer and Vice President of Naples Community Church.
