Glen Cooper

Glen Cooper has been a business broker since 1979. He has led business brokerage firms in Maine, New Hampshire and Colorado. For 26 years, he was also a credentialed business appraiser and is well-known to many as a coach for business brokers.He is currently the owner and president of Colorado Business Brokers. He is the author of Glen Cooper on BUSINESS BROKERAGE, the 2nd (2025) edition of his monumental book (www.Amazon.com/author/glen_cooper). He is also the immediate past President (2020-2024) of CABI (the Colorado Association of Business Intermediaries). Although Glen no longer maintains his many professional designations, he was a founding member of IBBA, and is a Fellow of IBBA. He was also one of the founders of the Institute of Business Appraisers (predecessor to NACVA) and one of the nation’s first CCIMs, a commercial real estate designation of the Realtors. Glen grew up in Colorado, left for 38 years, then returned to Colorado in 2010. He and his wife, Apryl, live in Denver.
