By earning your Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), you differentiate yourself from your competition and increase your credentials as a dedicated, knowledgeable professional broker.  This certification is looked upon highly in the broker community and by business professionals worldwide.  If you follow the educational requirements, you may be able to earn your CBI in about a year. If you plan on taking the CBI exam at the IBBA Fall 2011 Conference in Phoenix, please indicate your intention on your registration form.  The exam is scheduled to begin at 7:30am on Saturday, November 19th.  You must arrive at the designated start time.  Those arriving late will not be able to sit for the exam.  No exceptions will be made.

As a reminder, you may want to bring old course books to review in preparation for the exam.  We recommend Course #101 (or #301), #104 (or #304), #210, #220, #221, #250, #501.  You should also bring a calculator to the exam.

A CBI Refresher will be held on Friday, November 18th from 10:00am to 11:30am.  This refresher will provide the opportunity to review materials that will be covered on the exam with experienced IBBA members who have earned their CBI and to work with your fellow CBI candidates to prepare for the exam.
